AOC Unveils New G4 Ultrawide Monitors: CU34G4Z and 25G4SXU with 240Hz and 310Hz Refresh Rates
AOC has introduced two new monitors from its G4 series: the AGON GAMING CU34G4Z and the AGON GAMING 25G4SXU. These models are designed to meet the needs of different types of gamers, offering cutting-edge features that promise a great gaming experience.
AOC Gaming CU34G4Z
The AOC Gaming CU34G4Z is a 34-inch ultrawide curved monitor with a 1500R curve and a resolution of UWQHD (3440×1440). Its 240 Hz refresh rate and 21:9 aspect ratio provide an immersive gaming experience for various genres, from simulators to strategy games, offering a wide field of view. The response time is as low as 1 ms GtG and 0.3 ms MPRT, reducing motion blur in fast-action scenes.
It is certified with DisplayHDR 400, ensuring vibrant colors and high contrast. For connectivity, it features DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.1 ports, making it compatible with the latest hardware. The ergonomic stand offers height, tilt, and rotation adjustments for a comfortable setup.
AOC Gaming 25G4SXU
The AOC Gaming 25G4SXU is a 24.5-inch monitor with a Fast IPS panel and Full HD resolution. It has a native refresh rate of 300 Hz, which can be overclocked to 310 Hz via the OSD, making it ideal for esports. The response times are also 1 ms GtG and 0.3 ms MPRT, providing sharp images crucial for competitive gaming.
The ergonomic design includes an adjustable stand with up to 130 mm height adjustment, along with tilt, rotation, and vertical orientation adjustments. It supports Adaptive-Sync and NVIDIA G-SYNC to eliminate screen tearing, and the Low Input Lag mode minimizes latency.
Availability and Prices
Both monitors come with USB 3.2 Gen 1 hubs and support AOC’s G-Menu software for easy settings management. They also feature HDR10 technology, Flicker-Free, and Low Blue Light functions, which improve visual comfort during long gaming sessions.
The AOC Gaming CU34G4Z will be available in April 2025 for £369, while the 25G4SXU will be priced at £199.
