A Closer Look

First impressions of the Commando are very positive. The design is really unlike anything I’ve ever seen for memory, and the whole gun decal gives it an aggressive presence that’s sure to look awesome in your system. Shame Gigabyte doesn’t make that gun theme motherboard anymore, get the whole set going!

The all-metal heat spreader is going to do wonders for the cooling performance, and with a matte black finish, it looks great paired up with the all black PCB. Along the top, the heat spreader raises up to make the top rail of a gun, including the iron sights on the end.

There are some small silver highlights thrown in too, creating the illusion of gun stock, as well as the grip and a mag.

Overall, this is a great looking kit. There’s no RGB LED lighting, nothing like that, it’s just plug and play and ready to go. Their style is ready to rock right out of the box.
