Back in July is was rumoured that Apple were looking to purchase PrimeSense, and now it looks like that deal has gone ahead as Apple acquire the Israeli based company who helped create the core technology behind the original Kinect for Xbox 360.
According to Israeli news source Calcalist, Cupertino, Apple acquired the technology company in a deal that cost around $345 million. Something that could pave the way for Apple integrating motion controlled technology into their devices in the near future.
Rumour has it that Apple could be looking to integrate such technology into their much anticipated Apple TV device, but with the company now belonging to Apple there is no reason to doubt that they could use such a device with a wide range of Apple products ranging from Apple TV to their desktop and mobile solutions.
