There’s been a lot of hype around Apple as of late with plenty of new announcements and the same can be said about Intel, so we thought it only be fitting to update you on the latest collaboration between the two.
As we know, Apple are to be releasing a Mac Book Air based around Sandy Bridge in two flavours; 11.6 and 13.3″ versions. Until now we were unsure on the sheer volume of builds, but it has been said that 400,000 is the magic number with a confirmed 380,000 being put into production as we speak.
This new Sandy Bridge based machine will mean the closing production of older technology based MacBook Airs and another milestone for Apple as they have rivalled the PC market year on year over the past five.
This is mainly down to the improved operating system and stylish looks of the MacBook Air with its slim, sleek design.
Expect to see the new MacBook Airs starting on the production line any day now with low voltage Core i5 and i7 processors with support up to 8GB of memory allowing for the most intensive tasks to be handled with ease.
