Embark Studios aims to keep the challenge in Arc Raiders as balanced and fair as possible by introducing a semi-automated system that allows players to automatically recover items lost due to cheaters.
The system works even without player reports. If the platform detects cheating activity, it automatically repairs the damage caused to affected players.
This includes the restoration of loot, weapons, and equipment that may have been lost as a result of actions by players identified as cheaters.
Maintaining Fair Play and Enjoyment
Arc Raiders and Embark Studios are committed to creating an environment focused on fun and skill, leaving no room for unfair advantages or cheating. For this reason, the recovery system operates automatically, even without reports from users who have been wronged.
At least, that’s how it’s designed to work — though large-scale verification is still ongoing. In the meantime, there have been several reports of items being automatically restored by the system.
“Your items were lost due to unfair play, but we managed to get them back for you!,” reads a message shared by one player, demonstrating how the system works.
“We’re committed to building an environment where gameplay is about skill, teamwork, and fun, not unfair advantages,” the message continues. “Thank you for being part of this mission! Together, we’re building Arc Raiders into a fair and fun experience for everyone.”
