Arc Raiders Reportedly Hits 2.5 Million Sales, With Most on PC
It seems quite clear that Arc Raiders has achieved strong results at launch on PC and consoles, even though there are still no official numbers. One of the first estimates supports the positive impressions, suggesting the game has already reached an impressive sales milestone.
The source is Alinea Analytics, which in the past has not always been completely reliable due to its less precise data collection methods. However, in this case, the conclusions seem fairly believable.
Still, this should be taken only as an unofficial estimate, likely to be updated later by official statements from Embark Studios.
Over 2.5 Million Copies Sold — Most on PC
According to Alinea Analytics, Arc Raiders has already surpassed 2.5 million copies sold across PC and consoles. The game reportedly generated about $100 million in revenue during its first launch week, confirming it as a major success.
The analysis company also broke down sales by platform, claiming that about 1.7 million copies were sold on PC, around 400,000 on PlayStation, and another 300,000 on Xbox. However, these numbers should still be viewed with some skepticism.
It does seem reasonable that Arc Raiders sold most copies on PC, as this type of game often performs better on Windows. According to the data, the PC version represents roughly 69.2% of all sales.
In recent days, we’ve seen that Arc Raiders became the highest-rated online shooter ever on OpenCritic, and it even surpassed Battlefield 6 to take the top spot on Steam’s charts. These results show both strong critical praise and high player interest in the game.
In other news, Embark Studios introduces an automated system in Arc Raiders that restores items lost to cheaters, ensuring fair play and keeping the game fun and balanced for all players.
