Arctic Cooling MX-4 Thermal Paste Review

Results
The results show that thermal paste is still a very close contender no matter who the manufacturer is. It shows that whilst MX-4 was the lowest on idle, it had a joint win with the GC-Extreme paste from Gelid Solutions. For the load tests, it shows that MX-4 was victorious again but followed very closely by the likes of the Prolimatech Nano and GC-Extreme once again.

In our eyes it can only make sense if you look at the price of the pastes before purchasing due to the significant variation between the compounds we looked at today. If you’re not fussed about 1-2 degrees difference if you can be quids in at the end of the day, then maybe the lowest result isn’t actually the best.
