Arctic are readying the latest VGA cooler in the Accelero Xtreme series. The Xtreme III which will succeed the Xtreme II features a similar design to the Xtreme II  probably along the “if it ain’t broke then don’t fix it” lines. The Arctic Accelero Xtreme III features the following:

  • Unmatched cooling performance – 300 Watts
  • 3 ultra quiet 92mm PWM fans with low noise impeller
  • 5 heatpipes and 84 fins for efficient heat dissipation
  • Patented fan holder eliminates the buzzing sounds
  • Enhanced RAM and VR cooling by thermal adhesive
  • Pre-applied MX-4 thermal compound
  • CrossFire, SLI compatible

The cooler is compatible with the latest GTX 680 from Nvidia but lacks compatibility with AMD’s HD 7970 and HD 7950 cards. Full compatibility:
