Asgard AESIR DDR5 32GB 4800MHz Memory Review

AIDA64

Without much surprise, the results show that the memory clocked at a higher base speed ended up leagues head of the Asgard kit which got around six thousand MB/s less than the next score up from it.

Scores were more even here than in the read test but now Asgard are at the bottom of the scores and are even beaten by the bare SK Hynix memory we had tested.

The copy results show Asgard at the bottom again but now with an even bigger gap between it and SK Hynix, which was the only kit we tested that saw a better copy score than write score.

Even though Asgard wasn’t the worst scorer in our testing, it still only beat out the SK Hynix, which has so far proved to be the most even match for the AESIR, likely because they run at the same clock speed and have the same timings, but the crucial difference between them is the actual Dram chips used.
