ASRock Fatal1ty X79 Champion (X79) Motherboard Review
Cinebench R11.5
CINEBENCH is a real-world cross platform test suite that evaluates your computer’s performance capabilities. CINEBENCH is based on MAXON’s award-winning animation software CINEMA 4D, which is used extensively by studios and production houses worldwide for 3D content creation. MAXON software has been used in blockbuster movies such as Spider-Man, Star Wars, The Chronicles of Narnia and many more. CINEBENCH is the perfect tool to compare CPU and graphics performance across various systems and platforms (Windows and Mac OS X). And best of all: It’s completely free.

Beginning with Cinebench, the X79 Champion is comparably down in score against the other boards in our results listings, however the high overclock soon makes up for this.
Super PI
Super PI is a computer program that calculates pi to a specified number of digits after the decimal point—up to a maximum of 32 million. It uses Gauss–Legendre algorithm and is a Windows port of the program used by Yasumasa Kanada in 1995 to compute pi to 232 digits.

When we look at SuperPI, we find the unlike Cinebench, the second of our CPU tests gives a close matched result with one of the faster times we have seen on X79. Overclocking the chip to 5GHz took over three minutes off the calculation time.

Asrock cobble pretty decent boards together nowadays although I’d never consider this board for myself. Wendell has enough money already without have to milk more from some suckers.
I wonder how this board is for long run. Specially for those guys who turn off their PC once in a month.
And I’ve expected a actively cooled south-bridge board as it is top end board from them.
NEVER THOUGHT OF ASROCK AS A OVERCLOCKING MOTHER BOARD COMPARABLE TO ASUS GIGABYTE ECG MSI AND SO ON THIS IS A NICE LOOKING AND BY YOUR SPECS GREAT PROFORMANCE MOTHER BOARD AT A GREAT PRICE WOULD MAKE FOR AN INTERESTING BUILD
