Asrock has taken its time to release its 9 series motherboards, both ASUS and Gigabyte already released their’s last week. Asrock is hitting the market with two models a high end 990FX board and a enthusiast mid range 970 board. These boards are designed to support the latest AM3+ processors when they come out and also offer the features of the new 9 series chipset by AMD. Asrock is stepping up the mark when it comes to quality to try and match the military class of MSI and ASUS.
The 990FX board will be called the Asrock 990FX Extreme4. This board is going to be equipped with the 990FX chipset and 950 South Bridge chipset.

The 970 Extreme 4 Model is less equipped but still a fantastic board and knowing Asrock will hit the market at an extremely competitive price.
