ASRock X299 Taichi XE Motherboard Review

Power Consumption and Temperatures

Power Consumption

One of the biggest surprises is the power use, as I expected it to be reasonably high. Of course, 226.8 watts at stock and 365 at 100% CPU load is a lot, but it’s still around 30 watts less than rival X299 solutions. If you’re worried about cost over time while rendering, that is going to add up to a small saving in the electricity bill.
