ASRock X570 Motherboards on Display at Computex 2019

ASROCK X570 Motherboards on Display at Computex 2019

ASRock X570

We’ve been really filling our boots with the awesomeness that are the X570 motherboards this Computex. We didn’t have a meeting with ASRock and they seemed busy when we stopped by. However, I had a few minutes to snap some pictures of their upcoming X570 boards, and damn, do they look good. Of course, if you know of ASRock, you know they always do.

Taichi

Pictured above, the Taichi is one of their flagship boards, with the stunning clockwork design, reinforced PCIe lanes, and a stunning armour detail on the rear I/O and chipset cover. There’s plenty of RGB too, as well as the usual array of X570 features such as PCIe 4.0.

PCIe 4.0

Speaking of the new PCI standard, they also had the PS5016-E16 on display. The ultra-fast controller that will be at the heart of many next-gen NVMe drives. 5000 MB/s read? YES PLEASE!

Just some of the sexy mods showing off their new board designs.

Steel Legend

Not the top end board, but hardly lacking in features either. It comes with a single armoured PCIe lane, and one more full-size lane below that. There’s three 4x lanes too, which will no doubt benefit those using PCIe NVMe drives. Get you some raid 0 action going on here, you know you want it!

Phantom GamingX

This is one of my favourites. It features a loads of armour again, including three full-size PCIe lanes. There’s a more robust VRM/Power Delivery system, and VRM cooling here too, making it more appealing to the overclockers. I really can’t wait to put this one on our test bench.

Mini-ITX

As with most brands, there’s no mATX options here, but there is a competitive looking mini-ITX Phantom Gaming-ITX/TB3. While it only has one PCIe lane, it does house an NMVe PCIe 4.0 M.2 slot.

Phantom Gaming 4

On the more affordable end we have the Gaming 4. This is a nice looking board, but it’s obviously more cost focused. It has a good VRM configuration, but much less motherboard cooling and armour, so maybe not a big focus for overclockers, but mid-budget gamers will get their kicks here for sure.

Prices, release dates, it’s all unknown right now. I’m sure we’ll have more information very soon though.
