Asus has officially announced the release of the K93SM in Europe, the latest 18.4″ K-Series laptop.
Weighting at 4.1 kg, the K93SM offers an LED-backlit Full HD display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 powered by either a Core i5-2450M or i7-2670QM processor, up to 8 GB of RAM, a GeForce GT 630M 1 GB graphics card, and the choice between 500 GB or 1 TB of hard drive space.
Other features include an 8x DVD writer or 6x Blu-ray combo drive, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, a 3-in-1 card reader, an USB 3.0 port and a 6-cell (5200 mAh) battery. Additionally, this laptop makes use of the IceCool technology, ensuring a constantly cool and comfortable palm rest.
The K93SM comes with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit as its OS, and depending on the configuration is priced between €849 and €1,149.
