ASUS Announces AMD Radeon RX 9070 and 9070 XT Graphics Cards
ASUS has just introduced their new Radeon RX 9070 and 9070 XT graphics cards, utilising AMD’s RDNA 4 architecture. While we can’t talk about performance just yet, you won’t have long to wait at the cards, and their reviews, launch this week!
The new cards are divided into their robust TUF Gaming and Prime series. Both of the new cards feature 16GB of GDDR6 memory, DisplayPort 2.1 outputs, and support for AMD’s HYPR-RX and FidelityFX Super Resolution 4 technologies. They also feature a dual BIOS switch and compatibility with ASUS GPU Tweak III, providing users with options for performance tuning.

The TUF Gaming models are designed for maximum durability and cooling efficiency. They feature advanced Axial-tech fans with 0dB mode, a phase-change thermal pad, and a vented backplate. The cards are built with a reinforced metal frame, military-grade components, a protective PCB coating, and dual-ball bearings. Additionally, they incorporate Aura Sync RGB lighting for aesthetic customization.
The Prime models offer a more compact design, with optimized Axial-tech fans in a 2.5-slot form factor, while still maintaining essential features. They also utilize a phase-change thermal pad and vented backplate, and incorporate dual-ball bearings and ASUS’s Auto-Extreme manufacturing process. Like the TUF models, they include a dual BIOS switch and 0dB mode. ASUS recommends their TUF or Prime Gold series power supply units to ensure stable power delivery for these new graphics cards.
