ASUS dual socket Z9PE-D8 WS motherboard is ready

This motherboard is based on the Intel C606 “Patsburg” chipset, has an EEB form factor (Enterprise Electronics Bay Specification) of 30.5 x 33 cm, includes 2 LGA-2011 sockets and each circuit is powered by a 14 a phase VRM ( Digi + II VRM). The motherboard is given juice by of a  24-pin motherboard connector, 2 x 8-pin EPS and a 4-pin molex.

The ASUS  Z9PE-D8 WS  incorporates two sets of quad channel RAM (4 slots per CPU socket), supporting a total of up to 256 GB of DDR3 ‘Registered’ ECC.

The expansion slots include four PCI-Express 3.0 x16 (blue), 2 PCI-Express 3.0 x16 (@ x8), a PCI-Express 2.0 x16 (@ x4), six SATA 6.0 Gbps ports, eight SATA 3.0 Gbps, 2 USB 3.0 ports, multiple USB 2.0, 8-channel audio, 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports driven by an Intel 82574L, support CrossFireX and NVIDIA SLI.

The  Z9PE-D8 WS also has a steep price tag and sells for $ 630 U.S. dollars.
