ASUS Get Really TUF at Computex 2019

ASUS TUF
We’ve already seen all the awesome RoG products. However, it’s now time to get TUF with ASUS! Their TUF series used to just be armoured hardware, but it has become much more than that these days. The TUF design is a popular one, and ASUS have expanded on that for those who want the look, but also want great quality gaming hardware.
VG32VQ
The new curved 144Hz gaming monitor features Radeon FreeSync, as well as a 1ms MPRT response time. Of course, that’s going to appeal to enthusiast PC gamers. Furthermore, with HDR at 400cd/m, GamePlus, GameFast, and that lovely 31.5″ panel, it ticks so many boxes for PC gamers in general.
VG27AQ
While this one is only a 27″ screen, it has a slightly faster 155 Hz panel, as well as a 2560 x 1440 IPS panel. It’s not curved, but with the monitor above and this one, you certainly have some nice choices.
Graphics Cards
The new GTX 1660 TUF looks superb. It still has design ideas from the RoG series, but with that fantastic monochrome shroud that makes it look pretty slick. You can expect an 1890 MHz boost clock for OC mode, and 1860 MHz for Gaming Mode.
TUF Mouse
The new TUF Gaming M3 gaming mouse. It’s a small and simple beast, that’s well suited for fast-paced FPS gaming. It features a 7000 DPI optical sensor, 10-million click Omron switches, Teflon Feet, 100 IPS tacking, and 20G acceleration; so pretty tough… erm TUF then!
TUF Fans
The new TF120A1 looks like another heavily evolved Noctua fan with an ASUS created shroud around it. Why put all the RGB on the fan, when you can have this slick lightboard design on the side. Now, you can’t cange the text, but you can change the colour. Honestly, I love these, it’s a bit whack and different, and that’s fine by me.
TUF Motherboards
Next up, we have their two latest TUF motherboards, which will launch in time for the upcoming Ryzen 3rd Gen CPUs. They feature the X570 chipset, so you’ll have the fantastic PCIe 4.0 as standard. There are two variants, the Plus WiFi, and the Plus. Each feature 2 x M.2, 8 x SATA 6, Realtek L8200A LAN, and ALC S1200A audio. Of course, the WiFi also has an Intel Wireless AC 9260 module also.
