ASUS Launches New ROG Swift Monitors with Tandem RGB OLED Panels and Dual Mode Up to 480 Hz
ASUS has officially introduced two new gaming monitors in its ROG Swift lineup: the PG27UCWM (26.5 inches) and the PG32UCWM (31.5 inches).
Both models feature the company’s new Tandem RGB OLED panel technology, offering a major improvement in image quality and performance compared to traditional OLED displays.
ASUS Reveals ROG Swift Displays Featuring Tandem RGB OLED Panels
Unlike WOLED panels that use an additional white subpixel, these monitors use a pure RGB subpixel layout. This design improves text clarity and increases color volume by up to 27% at peak brightness. Both displays also feature the TrueBlack anti-reflective coating, are VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black certified, reach up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness in HDR content, and cover 99% of the DCI-P3 color space.
For gaming performance, both monitors offer a native 4K (3840 × 2160) resolution at 240 Hz with a 0.03 ms GtG response time. They also include a Dual Mode feature that can be activated with a dedicated button, allowing users to switch instantly to 1080p at 480 Hz for competitive esports gaming.
Connectivity includes DisplayPort 2.1a UHBR20 with the full 80 Gbit/s bandwidth, two HDMI 2.1 ports, and a USB-C port with 90 W Power Delivery. On the software side, the monitors support Nvidia G-SYNC, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, Dolby Vision, and a local console command system for AI agents.
The new monitors are available now in Europe. The ROG Swift OLED PG27UCWM is priced at €1,249.90, while the larger PG32UCWM is available for €1,359.90.
