ASUS Launches Special RTX 5070 and RTX 5060 Ti T1 Editions With Giveaways and Custom Design

ASUS has introduced two graphics cards inspired by T1, the well-known South Korean esports organization strongly connected to League of Legends. The new models are part of the WE ARE T1 campaign and are based on the GeForce RTX 5070 and GeForce RTX 5060 Ti.

At first look, the focus is mainly on the external design, with a black and red style, T1 logos, and custom backplates. The company will also support the launch with giveaways and promotional activities connected to this special edition.

From what has been seen so far, ASUS does not appear to have created two completely new graphics cards. Everything suggests that the RTX 5060 Ti T1 is based on an ASUS TX Gaming model, while the RTX 5070 T1 uses the design of an ATS Megalodon model. These are regional versions that are not part of ASUS’ better-known global product lines like ROG, TUF, Prime, or Dual.

ASUS Reveals T1-Themed RTX 5070 and RTX 5060 Ti

This suggests that the biggest differences are in the outer shell, backplate, and packaging, rather than major changes to the PCB, power system, or cooling design.

ASUS has also not shared any different technical specifications for these versions. It is expected that they will keep very similar clock speeds and configurations to the original models they are based on.

In other words, the T1 edition looks more like a collector’s version or a design-focused variant rather than a graphics card with a different technical profile. This detail matters because launches like this are usually aimed at team fans or users who care a lot about the visual customization of their PC.

The campaign will run from May 15 to June 30. ASUS will give away themed trips to South Korea and several T1 graphics cards to participants, although the international flight is not included in the travel prize. There will also be RTX 5070 T1 and RTX 5060 Ti T1 units included as part of the promotion.

This is becoming a common strategy in gaming hardware, where collaborations with esports teams are used both to strengthen the brand and create attention on social media and gaming communities.

There is also an important detail about the smaller model. The RTX 5060 Ti chosen for this edition appears to be the 8 GB version, something that may disappoint users who were hoping for a more powerful variant.

Even so, ASUS seems to have focused more on the visual side and the marketing campaign rather than creating a product that is technically very different.
