The ATTO Disk Benchmark performance measurement tool is compatible with Microsoft Windows. Measure your storage systems performance with various transfer sizes and test lengths for reads and writes. Several options are available to customize your performance measurement including queue depth, overlapped I/O and even a comparison mode with the option to run continuously. The USB testing does show the same results across the board like we found previously with the SATA controller. The key difference between the 2nd and 3rd generation chips is that under Ivy Bridge, USB 3.0 is supported natively on the chip and drivers within windows are no longer required.
