ASUS Officially Announces Strix GeForce GTX 1080 Ti

Nvidia presented their new flagship graphics card, the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, a while ago and now we’re getting starting to see the first custom cards being released. ASUS has officially announced their Strix GeForce GTX 1080 Ti card now and the specifications are no longer rumours or speculation.

The ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1080 Ti features a custom PCB and cooler solution, and it’s also packed with exclusive ASUS technologies. This includes the all-new MaxContact, an industry-first GPU cooling technology featuring an enhanced copper heat-spreader that provides a 10-times (10X) flatter surface for up to 2X more contact area with the GPU than traditional heat spreaders. Together with three wing-blade 0dB fans, the card delivers 30-percent-cooler and 3X-quieter performance than reference cards.

ASUS FanConnect II and GPU Tweak II allow you to control the fans while the Auto-Extreme technology with 10+2 phase Super Alloy Power II components ensures premium quality and reliability. No product is complete without RGB in the era and it’s no different for the ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1080 Ti. It comes with Aura Sync RGB LED synchronisation.

VR is another huge thing and the card is VR-friendly designed with two HDMI ports that let a gamer keep a VR headset connected to their system for immersive, virtual-reality gaming anytime. The GPU Tweak II software also features XSplit Gamecaster that provides intuitive performance tweaking and instant gameplay streaming.

ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1080 Ti and ASUS Turbo GeForce GTX 1080 Ti will be available worldwide from late-March.
