While the ASUS card didn’t take the top spot, second place is still very impressive and the scores were very close. It’s still significantly more ahead of the more affordable Gigabyte RTX 2080 Ti too. Non-Ti versions are way behind that too, the Ti’s are stupidly fast.
Again, just not enough here to push through to the top spot, which surprises me actually, as the card are closely matched. However, synthetic benchmarks and real-world gaming performance can be two very different beasts.
Again, it’s pretty much where you would have guessed it to be here. I almost feel disappointed, but I’m really not, and just look how far ahead the top three cards are vs everything else!
