As the ASUS ROG Strix SCAR II has been specifically designed with gaming in mind it is, of course, important that it’s pretty impressive in this regard. With both an Intel 8750H processor and (practically brand new) Nvidia 2070, we therefore expected some pretty beefy results.
In terms of performance from a laptop, the results were clearly pretty impressive. While not topping our lists, it should be made clear that mobile versions of graphics cards do not have the same performance levels as desktop models. As such, you do have to take any direct comparisons with a pinch of salt.
To put this all into context, however, for a laptop to achieve a score of over 8,000 on the Final Fantasy XV benchmarking tool clearly indicates that this is a very solid gaming performer.
