The particular model we tested (the GX502GW) comes provided with a 1TB NVMe SSD. This should provide more than enough storage space for the average gamer and any files you install onto the system. As the only drive in the laptop, it is nice to see a large capacity option used. Admittedly, the lack of a standard HDD is a little disappointing. That being said, however, the NVMe SSD it is provided with has a perfectly adequate capacity and provides surprisingly excellent acceptable write/read speeds.
The write speed, for example, is the best we have seen to date and by a comfortable margin of over 100mbps!
Although it isn’t necessarily highlighted in these results either, we should note that the boot-up time for the laptop is lightning quick. From cold to running, this takes about 8 seconds. Pretty impressive!
