ASUS STRIX Z270F GAMING LGA1151 Motherboard Review

Audio Performance

The ASUS STRIX Z270F GAMING employs the latest SupremeFX audio hardware which pays dividends. ASUS products are renowned for their impeccable audio performance, but the new codec takes this to a new level. More specifically, the frequency response, dynamic range and stereo crosstalk, dB results are astonishing. The only area which could be improved upon is the THD + Noise, dB(A) but this tends to be the case on most motherboards. Once the bit-rate is higher, the performance gets even better.

DPC Audio Latency Analyser

The motherboard’s audio latency is extremely low and only a tiny fraction from slotting into the second position.
