ASUS is launching a monstrous new gaming laptop with a 144Hz refresh rate. The ASUS ROG G703 boasts a 17.3-inch, 1080p ‘IPS-level’ display. Though the screen itself isn’t impressive, it’s powered by a GeForce GTX 1080, which should ensure the ROG G703 takes advantage of those 144MHz. In addition, the screen supports the NVIDIA G-Sync adaptive refresh rate technology. Finally, the system runs on an Intel Core i7 processor.
The ROG G703 also comes in an alternative 3840 x 2160 60Hz version
The ASUS ROG G703 gaming laptop is out now in the US, priced $3,499 (for the 144Hz version, at least). International availability is unknown as of now.
