ASUS has officially introduced the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDPR, a high-end gaming monitor designed for competitive esports. The new model combines a QHD resolution with a 500 Hz refresh rate to deliver a smooth gaming experience.
The monitor features a 26.5-inch third-generation QD-OLED panel with a native resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels. Thanks to the latest QD-OLED technology, it offers an ultra-fast 0.03 ms (GtG) response time, helping to keep motion sharp while reducing ghosting to a minimum.
The ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDPR is certified for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and is also compatible with Nvidia G-SYNC, helping to prevent screen tearing and stuttering without adding input lag.

The monitor also introduces a refreshed design with a semi-transparent rear cover and a ROG logo projector built into the base. Its stand supports height, tilt, swivel, and pivot adjustments, while a 1/4-inch standard mounting thread on the top allows users to attach cameras or other streaming accessories.
For connectivity, the monitor includes (thanks VideoCardz):
- 1 x DisplayPort 1.4 with Display Stream Compression (DSC)
- 2 x HDMI 2.1 FRL
- 2 x USB-A 5 Gbps ports
- 1 x 3.5 mm audio jack
However, it does not include USB-C or DisplayPort 2.1 connectivity.
ASUS has also equipped the display with its OLED Care Pro protection package, supported by a Neo Proximity Sensor that automatically turns off the panel when it does not detect the user nearby. The monitor is backed by a three-year warranty that covers OLED burn-in.
ASUS has not yet announced the monitor’s official price or release date. However, it is expected to be priced close to the ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDPG, which currently sells for around $849.
