It may not have ROG (Republic of Gamers), but this new Asus router is most definitely aimed at gamers. The 802.11ac MU-MIMO RT-AC86U router boasts speeds up to 2167Mbps – thanks to NitroQAM technology – via 5GHz band and a 4×4 antenna array. The router also features a 1.8GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM, and 256MB flash storage. Plus, it looks cool.
The router features an adaptive drag-and-drop QoS, plus WTFast support for Gamers Private Network. Indeed, the service can reduce ping times by up to 60%.
