Following the launch of the Nvidia 3060 series of graphics cards last February, while we have certainly seen more than a few interesting custom designs, there have, so far, been very few models catered towards the more compact of PC cases. – Well, following a report via Videocardz, if you are in the market for such an upgrade, then ASUS might have the answer for you with the official unveiling of their brand new single-fan 3060 Phoenix GPU.
It should be noted that while the ASUS 3060 Phoenix is notably shorter than the vast majority of other models ‘available’, it does still retain a 2.5 slot design and, as such, some limitations may still exist for certain restrictively sized chassis designs. Coming with a 1,320MHz and 1,820MHz boost clock speed, however, it would certainly not appear to be any kind of slouch despite it’s small stature.
In confirming its launch, ASUS has stated the following features consumers can expect to see from the GeForce RTX 3060 Phoenix:
At the time of writing, while this graphics card has been officially announced, ASUS has yet to confirm any kind of specific release date nor how much we can expect it to cost. And don’t even bother asking about actual retail availability because, while again nothing has been said about it so far, we don’t expect this to be any different. So, in other words, good luck getting one in the near future.
If you do, however, want to learn more about this and other ASUS products, you can check out their official website via the link here! (NB. No official product website has yet been launched for the ‘Phoenix’, but you can expect it to make an appearance in the very near future!).
