ASUS Unveils the New Generation of ROG OLED Monitors
ASUS has significantly updated its ROG OLED monitor lineup, introducing a new generation designed for the most demanding gamers. The latest models come in three key sizes — 34, 27, and 32 inches — and bring advanced display technologies such as the new RGB Stripe Pixel OLED, Tandem OLED, and the latest evolution of QD-OLED with BlackShield Film.
The stars of the ultrawide lineup are the new ROG Swift OLED PG34WCDN and ROG Strix OLED XG34WCDMS, both featuring 34-inch curved panels with WQHD resolution (3440×1440) and a curvature of 1800R. These monitors use Samsung’s fifth-generation QD-OLED panels with RGB Stripe Pixel technology, improving text clarity and image precision.
Key Technical Improvements
The ROG Swift model reaches a blazing 360 Hz refresh rate with a 0.03 ms response time, while the Strix version goes up to 280 Hz. The new ROG BlackShield Film improves scratch resistance by 2.5 times and enhances black levels by up to 40%.
In terms of connectivity, the PG34WCDN includes DisplayPort 2.1 UHBR20 (80 Gbps) and USB-C with 90W Power Delivery, while the XG34WCDMS features DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, and USB-C 15W.
The real innovation comes with the ROG Swift OLED PG27UCWM, a 27-inch model based on Tandem RGB OLED technology. This panel delivers 27% better color volume and higher HDR brightness. It also supports a dual display mode: 4K at 240 Hz for premium visual quality or Full HD at 480 Hz for competitive eSports gaming.
Completing the lineup is the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM Gen 3, a 32-inch 4K QD-OLED running at 240 Hz. This model refines an already popular design with the addition of BlackShield Film, improving contrast and text readability. It comes with VESA DisplayHDR 500 True Black certification and offers DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1, and USB-C with 90W Power Delivery, as well as OLED Care Pro features with a proximity sensor.
