EVGA isn’t the only one putting out a new X79 Chipset board for LGA2011 HEDT. Asus has released the feature packed P9X79-E workstation motherboard which uses the SSI-CEB form factor and uses a 10 Phase CPU VRM, seven PCIe 3.0 x16 slots, up to 128 64GB of quad channel DDR3, six SATA 6Gb/s ports (2 native, 4 via controllers), four SATA 3Gbps ports, a couple of eSATA 6Gb ports, four USB 3.0 ports, FireWire, 8 channel HD Audio, dual Gigabit Ethernet LAN and Intel made PHYs.
The pricing and availability date is not yet available, but one could speculate if these would be available in time for Ivy Bridge-E.
