The four new models are the AS5008T, AS5010T, AS5108T, and AS5110T, where the AS5x08T models have eight bays and the AS5x10T models have ten bays. They equally allow for memory upgrades up to 8GB, have four Gigabit Ethernet ports, three USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports as well as two eSATA.

“Enterprise users have always required increased productivity and simple management. Using this as an objective, ASUSTOR has chosen to use CPUs with hardware acceleration functions allowing for smoother multitasking while the meticulously developed ADM operating system provides an intuitive and simple management interface. No matter if it is system expansion or migration, ADM is able to significantly simplify maintenance and management for IT professionals,” said Johnny Chen, Product Manager at ASUSTOR.

The AS5108T and AS5110T also feature LCD panels and configuration keys to execute system initialization and quickly view basic system information. Additionally, they feature disk tray locks to avoid accidentally pushing disk tray buttons and releasing hard disks during operation. The lock is only to prevent accidental ejection and all you’ll need to unlock it is a flat-head screwdriver instead of some special key or tool.
