AVerMedia Live Streamer CAM 513 4K Web Cam Review

The world changed a lot when we entered lockdown, or whatever your local equivalent of that was. With so many of us transitioning to working from home, homeschooling, or simply just being at home more… you can relate, I’m sure. The demand for good quality webcams exploded for work meetings, school, and just those weekend Zoom quizzes with the family. Just about every camera sold out immediately. Fortunately, the rush has died down, and quality webcams are back on the menu, such as the AVerMedia Live Streamer CAM 513 4K I have in for review today.

AVerMedia Live Streamer CAM 513 4K

Of course, the modern world may have changed how many of us use our computers, but this webcam was really designed for live streaming and gaming. However, it’s certainly not limited to that. It features a 4K camera, which can deliver 4K30 video output, and uses the fantastic Sony Exmor technology. With a 94-degree ultra-wide lens, 360-degree swivel design, and a powerful software suite, you should be able to get setup and capturing with minimal effort.

Features

  • Crystal-Clear Picture Quality – The Live Streamer CAM 513’s built-in 4K optics captures astonishing 4K30 video that fulfils creators’ needs for high-quality images. With Sony® Exmor™ technology and AVerMedia’s precision adjustments, you will be able to present accurate, crystal-clear videos in 4K UHD.
  • Broaden Your View – The more you see, the more you can create. The Live Streamer CAM 513 comes with a 94-degree ultra-wide angle lens, which means that you can capture more while streaming or can include more people for video chat or conferencing.
  • Plug and Play – With USB 3.0 plug-and-play connectivity, there is no annoying driver installation, just plug the webcam into a computer and you are ready to go. It is also compatible with Windows, Mac OS, mainstream streaming software like OBS, RECentral, and more.
  • Protect Your Privacy – Online privacy matters! The Live Streamer CAM 513’s handy swivel-arm privacy shutter design lets you easily cover the lens with one hand. So whenever it is not in use, simply close it and you will never have to worry about webcam hackers.
  • Choose Any Angle You Want – With the Live Streamer CAM 513’s 360-degree swivel design, you can easily adjust the shooting angle whenever needed.
  • CamEngine, Enhanced! – Exclusively developed for the Live Streamer CAM series, CamEngine is the perfect app to unleash the true potential of CAM 513. Featuring the newly added functions like AI-Framing, ePTZ, Noise Cancellation, and more, you can now auto-adjust camera composition by motion-tracking, digitally zoom in and out, customise PTZ positions, and a lot more while eliminating unwanted ambient noise.
