Grand Theft Auto 5
As you can see, the system managed to easily surpass 60 frames-per-second once paired with a 1080P monitor. Additionally, the frame-rate remains extremely solid at higher resolutions which creates a glorious user experience. Although, I would recommend dialling back a few settings to make the minimum frame-rate more consistent.
Metro Last Light
Despite having to cope with Metro Last Light’s complex tessellation effects, the system upheld a very fluid frame-rate even when the resolution was increased to 2560×1440.
Tomb Raider
Rather surprisingly, the AWD-IT Alpha Doom forged ahead of similar machines during the Tomb Raider benchmark at 2560×1440. Not only that, the 1080P frame-rate never drops below 120 and illustrates the impeccable price to performance ratio the GTX 970 is capable of.
Bioshock Infinite
Throughout the Bioshock Infinite test run, the system performed admirably and didn’t exhibit any hitching or sudden frame drops.
