Barnes and Noble Nook 1.5 update (Speed improvements)

Barnes & Noble are currently working on the biggest update ever for its Nook e-book reader which is a stylish device similar to the Apple iPad. The update is only known at the moment as version 1.5 and will provide a lot of new and improved features, including:

  • Faster performance overall
  • Faster page turning
  • Password encryption protection
  • Customized library
  • Last page syncing across all Nook based devices

B&N aren’t letting too much out in regards to this update, but our sources tell us that it’s due to be rolled-out in late November, maybe even early December.

The perfect little gift for Christmas!
