be quiet! @ Computex 2024

Computex 2024:

be quiet! is one of the biggest names in the business, with many of the best cases, coolers, power supplies found in the market today.

The one that really caught my attention is the LIGHT Base, a coverable case that can be placed vertically, horizontally, or have the hardware inverted, giving it extreme flexibility to build it to suit your own style or needs. Plus, it looks absolutely stunning, with a style that has nods of the 80’s to 90’s Hi-Fi era.

The side trim looks epic, with deep ventilation grooves, and built in ARGB lighting that really makes it stand out from the crowd. There’s ventilation everywhere, including the bottom/side, and two sides of tempered glass ensuring you can show off your hardware in any orientation. It also features removable feet so raise it when in a horizontal configuration.

The LIGHT Base 600 and 900 offer impressive hardware support, with room for both 120mm and 140mm fans, large ATX PSUs, big air coolers, extensive radiator support, and riser cable support.

Which every configuration you choose, there’s no doubt about it, it’s going to look stunning.

Fans

The all-new LIGHT Wings LX fans look stunning, with a new illuminated hub and frosted fan blade design they really do shine, even in this bright event hall.

With 16 LEDs per fan, fully ARGB control and daisy chaining options, they’re sure to look great in any system. They feature low starting RPM for ultra-quiet performance, and a rifle bearing design for 60,000 hours operation and their closed loop motor technology to ensure accurate RPM management.

Cooling

The Dark Rock 5 is here at last too, looking just as amazing as the previous model, but featuring a 6 heat-pipe design, the latest Silent Wings 4 120mm PWM fan, and improved RAM and VRM compatibility.

Finally, we have the LIGHT Loop 240mm and 360mm coolers, each available in black or white, and both with that stunning frosted ARGB pump design for impressive soft-lighting effects, and of course, the new Light Wings LX PWM ARGB fans.

There’s a lot of new pump designs at the show, but this one really does look pretty special, and I like that they didn’t just simply stick an LCD on it and call it a day, but did something more unique and interesting.
