Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro C1 Dual Tower CPU Cooler Review

While situated in a room where background noise was kept to a minimum, we placed the sound level meter equal distances from our test system to measure the total noise output by the complete test system for each cooling configuration at 100% fan speed.

Using a pair of 1700 RPM Silent Wings PWM fans, Be Quiet!’s Dark Rock Pro shows surprisingly competitive acoustic results. While its noise output may be narrowly defeated by that of the Silver Arrow, the other 3 main dual tower coolers can’t compete with the Dark Rock Pro’s acoustic levels.
