be quiet! Light Mount & Dark Mount Mechanical Keyboard Review
Packaging & Accessories
be quiet! tends to package all their products very similarly, with black boxes, with a clean large font and a detailed photo of the product on the front, and the Light Mount is no exception to those rules.

Or for that matter, the Dark Mount. The boxes are robust, so the keyboards should ship with plenty of protection.

Around the back, things are pretty boring, just a specifications list, but hey, we all needs to see stats sometimes.

I actually got a few extras in the review box; you won’t get these separately as a consumer, but they’re demos of what’s inside the keyboards. This includes the three layers of sound dampening, as well as their new linear and tactile switches.

A durable box on the outside, a folded cardboard inner tray, and protective wrap ensure there are at least 4 layers between any components and any external forces, so again, super well packaged, and it all looks to be recyclable materials too, which is nice.

The Light Mount comes with a detachable wrist rest, keycap/switch pulling tool, and a braided USB Type-A to Type-C cable.

Both keyboards are exceptionally well packaged, but the Dark is even more so, with multiple layers of compressible foam to protect its more premium and sensitive components. At the top, the keyboard itself.

Below that, it’s the main wrist rest, detachable keypad, cable and LCD module.

Below that, the pulling tool, numberpad wrist rest, and eight magnetically stacking feet.

There are a few fancy extras, but we’ll get back to those shortly. First, let’s take a look at the Light Mount keyboard on the next page.
