A Closer Look – Exterior

The first thing you’ll notice is that lovely Silent Wings fan mounted proudly in top of the PSU, it comes with ridges on the seven fin design to help better control the airflow and noise from the fan, and comes trimmed with a bright orange edge, giving it a nice look that you’ll be proud to show off in your system build.

The base of the unit is flat, nothing much to see there, but at least it’s smart and presentable thanks to that matte black paint work.

Down the side, a stamped-in be quiet! logo, adding a nice bit of subtle branding that looks neat and tidy. Around the back, a good amount of ventilation, as well as a very welcome master power switch.

On the other side, the power specifications. As you can see, we’ve got the 700W unit, and it’s capable of delivering up to 56A over the 12V1 and 12V2 rails; more than enough for a high-end gaming system.

Here you’ll find that the CPU 4+4 and motherboard 24-pin cables are hard-wired, which is fine as literally every system will require them. They come sleeved with black braiding too, so they should easily blend into your system; there are two connectors for the PCIe cables and three drive connectors too.

Cabling

As I said before, the main system cables are hard-wired and they’re a good length, so well suited to systems that have the PSU mounted in the top or the bottom of the chassis.

All the other cables are a flat cable design, which will help greatly improve your cable management. They’re an all black design too, so they should easily blend into your system without drawing too much attention.
