be quiet!
We’ve just stopped by the be quiet! booth here at Computex 2026, and it is clear the German manufacturer is making a massive push for the second half of this year. Known globally as a premium leader in cooling, power supplies, and chassis design, they are now introducing software-controlled ecosystem intelligence and breathtaking visuals across their entire lineup.

First up on the cooling front, we took a look at the new Light Wings Pro IO 360mm and Light Wings Pro IO 120mm fans. These premium spinners feature an incredibly sturdy unibody design with integrated ARGB lighting distributed across both the fan blades and the outer frame surround. They will also be available in hefty 420mm arrays and standalone 140mm configurations, ensuring a sleek fit for any high-end PC build. Engineered with fluid dynamic bearings and a thicker 28mm frame for exceptional static pressure, they route directly through a daisy-chainable magnetic IO Controller to keep cable clutter to an absolute minimum.

We already know and love the Dark Rock Pro 6 as the company’s flagship dual-tower air cooler, but be quiet! is keeping up with the modern trends of 2026 by introducing the Dark Rock Pro 6 IO LCD. Walking onto the stand, the first thing that caught our eye was its massive 4.5-inch IPS LCD top screen. Boasting a staggering 600 nits of brightness, the display integrates flawlessly with the new be quiet! IO Center software to track real-time desktop statistics, custom videos, or images to keep your build looking incredibly dynamic.

When it comes to power delivery, the brand continues to dominate the extreme enthusiast landscape. Their brand-new Dark Power Pro 14 IO flagship power supply is a monster, arriving in 1300W and 1600W variants with 80 PLUS Titanium and Cybenetics Titanium efficiency. It fully complies with the Intel ATX 3.1 standard to easily handle the massive power excursions of next-generation PCIe 5.1 GPUs. What makes this unit truly special is its native USB Type-C connectivity. This link talks directly to the desktop software for real-time monitoring of power draw, rail voltage, and efficiency metrics. In fact, if you pair it with their latest generation of LCD-equipped AIO coolers, the CPU block screen can display your exact PSU power draw in real time.

Speaking of liquid coolers, the brand also debuted the Light Loop IO LCD 240mm. This is an evolution of the premium liquid cooling design we have come to appreciate, but it has now been elevated with a sharp 2.1-inch IPS display embedded directly into the cooling block. With 500 nits of brightness and a crisp resolution, it provides an exceptionally clean implementation of on-block diagnostics without compromising the signature whisper-quiet pump performance.
While the cooling hardware is fantastic, the chassis department brought out something that completely stole the show. The new Pure Base 803 prototype is an absolute unit of a PC case, boasting support for massive graphics cards, hidden back-connect motherboards, and up to eleven 140mm fans. For a showcase aesthetic, the Pure Base 803 LX version features dual tempered glass panels and pre-installed Light Wings LX ARGB fans.

However, it was the Pure Base 803 Workstation variant that genuinely impressed us with its thoughtful engineering. It swaps the glass for a high-airflow mesh front panel, accommodates larger EEB and CEB motherboards, and revives a classic PC building trend. The side fan bracket can be swapped out for dedicated storage drive brackets, allowing users to install up to ten 3.5-inch hard drives right in the main chamber. It is an amazing nod to the heavy-duty storage methods from a decade ago, perfectly modernized for local home servers and small business workstations.
Overall, it is an incredible showing from be quiet! this year in Taipei. They have successfully blended their legendary acoustic performance with advanced software control and premium aesthetic choices.
