BenQ EW Series Entertainment Monitors Revealed

BenQ is one of the best-known names in the display business, and it has a range of impressive monitors, projectors, and professional displays. Now, they’ve revealed their latest EW Series. This new line-up includes the EW3290U, EW2790Q, and EW2790U, which feature a wider color gamut for enjoying video content, high-quality built-in speakers for media consumption, and video a few eye care technologies to ensure a great watching experience over long periods.
Designed for media consumption and casual use, these monitors promise “great color coverage” and both UHD and QHD resolution options. HDRi Gen 2 Dynamic Contrast Adjustment is said to create “better visual details in dark environments for late-night movies or binge-watching, and colors pop with wider color gamut coverage.” But to me, it sounds like fake HDR that’s likely best avoided for colour accuracy.

What BenQ Had to Say
“Building upon existing user-friendly features like eye-care technology and an integrated charging hub, our revamped entertainment monitors provide an elevated audio-visual experience for users seeking an all-in-one desk setup upgrade,” said House Wei, Senior Director of BenQ North America. “From binge-watching to business meetings – BenQ has you covered.”
