The BenQ X12000 aims to deliver the best home cinema experience able to produce the DCI-P3 color space accurately via Philips ColorSpark HLD LEDs with CinematicColor Technology.  The DCI-P3 color gamut defined by the digital film industry encompasses a significantly larger portion of the visible color spectrum compared to typical sRGB or Rec. 709. This is the same color standard used in all IMAX auditoriums worldwide, but is now available for the home market. This significant color depth, coupled with 8.3 million distinct pixels meeting the Consumer Technology Association’s 4K UHD specification, make the BenQ X12000 the pinnacle of home DLP projector technology.

BenQ X12000The BenQ X12000 with its Philips ColorSpark HLD LED technology generates up to 2,200 lumens of brightness so even in well-lit rooms, the projector has no problems displaying with clarity. This is up to three times the screen brightness compared to other projectors achieved by combining light four times as bright as conventional green LEDs from its High Lumen phosphor module with high-brightness red and blue LEDs. The physical body design itself is also quite sleek, having front facing ventilation flanking the lens in the middle (exhaust fans out to the front). There is H/V lens shift and 15x zoom adjustable to home cinemas of any size, and has an aspect ratio of 16:9 as well as support for 21:9. The port connection areas are unobstructed along the edges so it can be managed and installed without much fuss. Connection ports include two HDMI ports with MHL support, a LAN port, a USB type mini-B port, PC (D-Sub), RS232 and standard audio in and out.
