Four screws simply push through the cooler back plate behind the motherboard, these are then held in place with your simple to use plastic retention clips. Screw the appropriate AMD or Intel brackets to the bottom of the cooler and you can simply drop the whole thing into place.
It took no more than five minutes to get it installed, easily one of the easiest coolers I’ve worked with. Fan clearance is just a millimetre above the ran, but you could easily mount the cooler the other way around, or move the fan to the other side if you have tall ram modules.
