BIOSTAR was kind enough to include their new M700 Series Gen3X4 M.2 SSD with this motherboard. So, while it doesn’t take full advantage of the PCIe 4.0 technology it was still a pretty swift drive for what’s meant to be a pretty affordable solution. Given it was rated to read up to 2000 MB/s and write up to 1600 MB/s it’s pretty much right on the money here. We actually got 2082 Mbps read and 1679 MBps write out of it, slightly above the rated specifications.
