BitFenix Ghost PC Chassis Review

With the side panel removed we see that the back plate features raised mounts, meaning you won’t need stand-offs to install your motherboard. There’s also a large cutaway at the back to allow for easy installation of CPU coolers and 4 good sized cable management cut-outs.

Here we can better see the pre-installed BitFenix Spectre 120mm fan which acts as the systems main heat exhaust. Further down from there we have the 7 expansion slot covers, which are all reusable and can be easily clipped in/out of the chassis..

The three 5.25″ bays come fitted with a simple quick release mechanism which allows for easy removal and installation of your drives. Further down from there we have two hard drive bays, the top supports 3 x 2.5″ drives, although this can be adjusted to support 3.5″ if needed, or removed altogether, the bottom bay had support for a further 3 x 2.5″ drives.

Around the back we can better see the cable management options, there’s plenty of room to route your excess cables thanks to the four cut-outs, the rubber grommets don’t come pre fitted, but they were included in the box, so well fit those in the next section. There are four cable tie down loops on the motherboard plate, but I would have liked to have seen more of these around the back of the chassis.

Here we can see the top fan mounts of the chassis, with two large cut-outs for your fans to fit across, as well as some ventilation holes along both sides.

Both side panels come lined with a heavy duty sound proofing, this will go a long way to reduce excess noise from within the chassis.
