BitFenix Launch Prodigy M Case

BitFenix have just unveiled the latest version of their Prodigy case, the Prodigy M. Unlike the original BitFenix Prodigy, which was designed for mini-ITX, the Prodigy M is designed for micro-ATX motherboards. The Prodigy M from Bitfenix is their attempt at making the most compact and compatible micro-ATX chassis on the market.

Surprisingly the Prodigy M has an identical size to the original Prodigy measuring in at 250 x 404 x 359mm. The main difference is redesigned internals to account for the bigger motherboards. The case supports two optional 120mm fans in the top, two 120mm fans in the bottom (1 included) or a single 200/230mm instead and the rear has a single 120mm fan included with an option to have a 140mm instead.

The case has 5 PCI slots and is available in Black or White, with Overclockers UK doing a mixture of different black/white configurations which you can see below. The inputs and outputs are the usual HD audio and a pair of USB 3.0. PS2 ATX power supplys are supported at the bottom of the case. The BitFenix Prodigy M has Bitfenix’s SofTouch surface treatment, FyberFlex composite handles and heat shield. The case supports a single 5.25 inch drive in a removable bay , up to four 3.5 inch drives in two sets of two or up to five 2.5 inch drives in a set of 3 and a set of 2.

The BitFenix Prodigy M can support a 240mm radiator at the top, 120/140mm radiator at the rear and 240mm radiator at the front (with some minor modifications).
