BitFenix Nova TG Mid-Tower Chassis Review

BitFenix Nova TG

Tempered glass is the big craze that has surely defined the 2017 chassis market. Of course, we’ve got to tip our fedoras (we don’t really wear fedoras) towards RGB as well, which has been part of the trinity of product, add glass, add RGB, throughout this year. However, for all the lack of innovation this has provided, I have actually loved it. Adding some glass and lights to a product can give it a new lease on life. Have you enjoyed the upgraded product ranges this year?

BitFenix is next in line for the tempered glass upgrade, taking their popular but ageing Nova design and putting a glass panel on it. There’s no RGB this time, but there is a white LED fan on the white model, and a red LED fan on the black model, so not all is lost for lighting lovers. So what’s so exciting about this unimaginative upgrade you ask? The price!

Right now, you can get a Nova TG and still get change from £40. No, seriously, it’s so cheap it’s rude to not buy one before you read more of the review. If you prefer to read ahead first, good for you, always do your research; now let’s take a look at what’s on offer.

What BitFenix Had to Say

“With the BitFenix Nova TG, the classic Nova receives a major upgrade. Keeping the simplistic design of the front panel, the new Nova TG is now equipped with a 4mm tempered glass panel, a redesigned body and two pre-installed 120mm fans. As a finishing touch, the signature mesh for the air inlets received a color-upgrade, matching the black version with red mesh and the white version with black mesh.” – BitFenix
