505 Games and MercurySteam, best known for their work on the GhostRunner series and Metroid, respectively, have just released the PC system requirements for their next game! While I have to admit that I’ve never heard of Blades of Fire until today, with these developers, I’m sure it’ll be something interesting and worth checking out.
Thankfully, at a glance, the system requirements actually seem quite tame; it doesn’t look like you need some super computer just to run it. This is especially good news for those of you on older hardware, given the dumpster fire that has become flagship hardware in recent weeks…
Blades of Fire PC Requirements
Blades of Fire requires a somewhat modern PC to run smoothly. The minimum specifications call for a Windows 10 operating system, an Intel Core i7-11700KF or AMD Ryzen 5800X processor, 16GB of RAM, and either an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics card. This configuration is aimed at achieving high 1080p performance at 60 frames per second using FSR (FidelityFX Super Resolution).

For higher resolutions and visual fidelity, the recommended specifications include the same processor and RAM, but upgrade the graphics to an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT for 1440p at 60 FPS, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT for 4K at 60 FPS, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX along with an Intel Core i7-13600K or AMD Ryzen 7600X for Ultra settings at 4K at 60 FPS; all recommended settings also utilize FSR for performance enhancement.
