Final Thoughts

How Much Does it Cost?

In the US, you can pick up the BlitzWolf 60W 36-inch 6 speaker soundbar for just $99.99. Those in the UK can grab it for £76.78. That’s a pretty good price for a soundbar, and while there are many on the market, this is one of the most competitive. You can get some cheaper, but they’re from less established brands, and typically of a much lower quality. Of course, you can spend a lot more too, but you’ll be spending closer to $200 before you hear much in the way of improvement.

Overview

I must admit that I went in with lower expectations for this review. It’s built to be a more affordable product, and that usually means it lacks high-end performance. Audiophile grade enthusiast cinema equipment this is not. However, it’s still performed well enough for me to think, yeah, I would buy one of these. Personally, it won’t be going on my TV. However, for desktop use, I found it a nice fit for under one of our PC monitors, and it looks and sounds great for gaming, YouTube and listening to music in the office. Again, at this price, it’s easy to find a spot for a powerful soundbar in your home.

Performance

The BlitzWolf did exactly what it promised, delivering powerful and clear audio that beats the hell out of anything you’ll find built into your TV. The EQ profiles are great, allowing you to tweak the sound to suit your needs. I do find it weird they have no EQ off mode, yet have a “News” EQ mode. Personally, I found all the EQ’s to sound pretty suitable to most things. Of course, it’s subjective too, so flick through them all while watching a movie, and you’re sure to find something that puts a smile on your face.

Usability

With multiple audio inputs, you can easily connect your TV however you like. Of course, you can connect multiple devices with ease using other cables. Furthermore, with the handy remote control, you can tab through the sources as you see fit, making it very practical for day-to-day use. The remote is much higher quality than needed too, although that’s hardly a bad thing. It’s quite large at 36-inch wide, so may not fit under smaller TVs. However, for those with bigger screens, you wouldn’t want a tiny soundbar either. Of course, just remember to measure the available space before you purchase.

Should I Buy One?

If you’re rocking a large TV with tiny speakers, like most people are these days, the BlitzWolf is a great remedy. It’s priced very competitively, the build quality is above what you usually find in this price range, and the style is neat and tidy. Overall, it looks like BlitzWolf are onto a winner.
