Gearbox revealed at PAX this weekend that Borderlands 2 will be getting a new character class and customisation options.
The developer revealed a new Mechromancer class, showing off a female character who appears to be part human part machine, with the apparently ability to control ‘a large robot known as D374-TP (Deathtrap)’, reports Game Informer, who attended the presentation.
The character is being prepped as free post-release DLC for all those who pre-order the game, and for an unspecified price to everyone else.
The developer also revealed a new character customisation mechanic in which players will unlock new clothes and gear which they can apply to their characters as they progress through the game.
